The short version

HashPath collects no personal data. Your inputs and saved scenarios stay on your device. Nothing is sent to any server. No account required.

What data is stored

All data is stored locally on your device only:

  • Fleet, site, and assumption inputs you enter
  • Saved scenarios and custom ASIC presets
  • App preferences (theme, etc.)

HashPath inputs are hypotheticals, not financial records, so they are stored as plain JSON in your browser's localStorage. Use the JSON Export button to back them up. The app never transmits your inputs anywhere.

External requests

HashPath makes a small number of network requests for live market and network data:

  • Bitcoin price: Fetched from CoinGecko, with Coinbase as a fallback.
  • Network difficulty, next-retarget ETA, halving countdown, and historical difficulty: Fetched from mempool.space public APIs.
  • Chart.js library: Loaded from jsdelivr.net on first visit, then cached locally by the service worker.

These requests contain no personal data. They are simple price and network lookups.

No tracking or analytics

HashPath contains no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting services, and no third-party trackers of any kind.

No accounts

HashPath does not require you to create an account or provide an email address.

Open source

HashPath is fully open source. You can inspect the complete source code at github.com/peerloomllc/hashpath.
